Hospital frontline: fighting a new disease with no effective drugs or vaccine – BBC News

The NHS has been facing an extraordinary new challenge with coronavirus – learning how best to treat patients with a disease that so far has no clearly effective drug treatment or vaccine.

Medical workers at the Royal London Hospital in Tower Hamlets are on the frontline of that struggle, working in one of England’s most deprived boroughs, that’s been badly hit by Covid-19.
